Rado welcomes summer in bold style with three vibrant new additions to its Anatom collection. Introducing Anatom Lemon, Lime and Grapefruit: a colorful trio that brings seasonal freshness to your wrist, with shiny rubber straps and matching dégradé dials, all housed in the collection’s iconic rectangular case.
Few watch manufacturers embody innovation and design like Rado does. The Swiss brand has long been at the forefront of watchmaking materials research, pioneering the use of sapphire crystal, ceramics, high-tech ceramics and high-tech plasma ceramics. These advances aren’t just about performance – they’ve become the foundation of Rado’s unmistakable sleek aesthetic. Decades of technical sophistication and an eye for timeless design have transformed Rado watches into modern classics that transcend fleeting trends.
Rado Anatom, a collection with a history of over four decades
Among these iconic models is the Anatom, a model that originally debuted in 1983 and returned in 2023 to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Now, Rado adds a touch of summer flair to the collection with three fruity color combinations inspired by citrus tones: sunny lime green, vibrant lime green, and bold grapefruit red.
Like all Anatom models, the new models also emphasize comfort, with an ergonomic case design that curves naturally on the wrist. The watches measure 32.5 x 46.3 x 11.3 mm and are water resistant to 50 meters. At 6 o’clock there is a date window, framed by an impressive dial that transitions from light to dark in a gradient effect – an elegant allusion to the popular dégradé trend.
True to Rado’s principles of blending state-of-the-art technology with design, the new Anatom watches feature cases made of the brand’s state-of-the-art high-tech ceramic. A polished black ceramic bezel contrasts with the vivid dials, while the sapphire crystal – cylindrical and subtly beveled – is treated with an anti-reflective inner coating and black metallization to ensure excellent legibility.
The central case is made of sandblasted stainless steel with an elegant black PVD coating, and the back cover of the case reveals the heart of the watch: the Rado caliber R766 (based on ETA A31.111). This automatic mechanism features a Nivachron anti-magnetic spring, is tested in five positions and provides a robust 72-hour power reserve.
