At the request of diving enthusiasts and watch collectors around the world, Swiss manufacturer DOXA is reintroducing the SUB 250T GMT—a spectacular return to a long-awaited classic. This iconic watch combines its unmistakable design with GMT functionality, giving wearers the ability to track two time zones simultaneously, an essential feature for travelers and adventurers.
DOXA SUB 250T GMT stay true to the essence of its 2006 predecessor
The new version of the SUB 250T GMT remains true to the essence of its 2006 predecessor, a watch appreciated for its vibrant chromatics and solid construction. DOXA keeps the tradition and brings back to the fore the iconic colors that have consecrated this collection: Professional orange, deep black Sharkhunter, bold yellow Divingstar and intense blue Caribbean. In addition, collectors will have five new variants at their disposal, including the sophisticated Searambler silver, which further expands the appeal of this modern reinterpretation.
One of the standout models in this relaunch is the special edition Sharkhunter, which brings a gradient effect dial for the first time—a visual innovation for DOXA. This variant combines vintage aesthetic elements with contemporary refinement, with white pins inspired by early Sharkhunter models, which create an elegant and balanced contrast.
A model that impresses with functionality
Beyond its attractive appearance, the new SUB 250T GMT impresses with its functionality. In addition to the classic time and date display (positioned at 3 o’clock), the GMT function allows two time zones to be monitored at the same time. The dedicated skeletonized GMT hand accurately indicates the 24-hour scale on the dial flange, ensuring excellent legibility. For optimal visibility in low light conditions, all needles, including GMT, are coated with Superluminova luminescent material.
As a dedicated diving watch, the SUB 250T GMT is equipped with a DOXA-patented unidirectional rotating bezel, a key element for underwater safety. The 40mm stainless steel case with a slim 10.8mm profile offers the perfect balance of comfort and wrist presence. With a water resistance of up to 250 meters, this model is ready for authentic underwater adventures.
The watch is powered by a basic Sellita automatic mechanism, which provides a solid 50-hour operating reserve. In addition, it can be purchased either with a comfortable rubber strap, priced at $2,450, or with the famous “rice grain” bracelet, for $2,490, inspired by historical models.
The return of the SUB 250T GMT marks a new chapter in the DOXA story, offering a harmonious mix of classic design nostalgia and modern features. Whether worn for diving, travel or everyday use, this reimagined model continues to reinforce the brand’s reputation for innovation and timeless elegance.
