In the increasingly vibrant landscape of automotive luxury in Romania, a new defining milestone has been reached: Holland Automotive Group, an elite player from Canada and the USA, has officially entered the Romanian market through the acquisition of dealers for Ferrari and Aston Martin.
Holland Automotive Group of Canada has agreed to acquire the business and assets of Forza Rossa and British Motors, which import and sell four car brands in Romania, respectively: Ferrari, Aston Martin, Dallara and Morgan. Forza Rossa in Romania is the only Ferrari dealer in Eastern Europe. The business has now been transferred to a company called Ferrari of Bucharest.
Forza Rossa and British Motors are owned by Camelia and Ion Bazac, the former Minister of Health in the first Boc Government, through a holding company based in Cyprus. Forza Rossa was opened in 2007 and has increased its turnover year after year, up to a level of 76.5 million lei, in 2023, with a net profit of 7.3 million lei, according to Profit.ro.

Romania strengthens its position on the map of luxury car destinations
Holland Automotive Group’s entry into Romania is a move that not only reaffirms Romania’s position on the map of luxury car destinations, but also promises a redefinition of the standards of exclusivity and refinement.
For connoisseurs, Ferrari is not just a car, but a style statement and an extension of the passion for mechanical excellence. And Aston Martin – a symbol of British elegance, perfect in fluid lines and timeless details – is now preparing to become an even more solid landmark for Romanian collectors.
The new entity, Ferrari of Bucharest, comes as a stand-alone brand, consolidating the legacy of Forza Rossa, the only Ferrari dealer in Eastern Europe. With annual sales of over 76 million lei and a profit of 7.3 million in 2023, Forza Rossa has always been synonymous with automotive refinement. The takeover by Holland Automotive Group, however, brings a new dimension: the promise of an international luxury experience, brought to premium standards of operation and customer relations.
Gad Bitton, CEO of Holland Automotive Group, stresses that Romania deserves “nothing less than the extraordinary”, and plans for Aston Martin Bucharest include transforming it into a regional hub for enthusiasts, collectors and exclusive events.
An invitation to lovers of authentic luxury
This transaction is more than a change of ownership – it is an invitation to enthusiasts of authentic luxury, who appreciate not only the quality of the engineering, but also the finesse of the experience. It’s about test drives on coastal roads, about private setup sessions, and about cars that end up talking about their owners better than any other luxury item.
Holland Automotive owns distribution rights for brands such as Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Maserati and McLaren, and the experience gained on the markets of Montreal, Toronto or Florida will undoubtedly contribute to the maturation of the high-end automotive segment in Romania.
For a clientele accustomed to yachting, cruises and residences in Capri, this expansion is not just good news – it is a reconfirmation that Romania is becoming, step by step, part of the global circuit of premium experiences.
