In an era where sustainability is becoming a natural extension of luxury, the new Oceanwalker S60e is distinguished by a rare balance between clean technology and the sophistication of navigation.
Signed by Revolution Marine Group, this 60-foot solar-electric catamaran marks a firm step forward in the direction of emission-free, near-silent sailing, and at the same time a style statement for those who refuse to compromise between innovation and elegance.
Following the debut of the diesel-electric hybrid version of the Oceanwalker S60 in April, the all-electric variant – the S60e – takes the modern yachting experience to a new level. Powered by two 150 kW engines (equivalent to 200 hp), the catamaran reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots, maintaining an optimal cruising speed between 7 and 8 knots. And, perhaps most importantly for connoisseurs of absolute tranquility: everything happens almost without any sound, without vibrations, without a carbon footprint.
While the all-electric range has yet to be revealed, those who want longer sea trips can turn to the two 45kW diesel generators, which extend the range to 800 nautical miles – a subtle compromise between total freedom and smart sustainability.
The focal point of the onboard experience is the 10 kW solar system, which powers the entire “hotel load” infrastructure: air conditioning, electric cooking, laundry, all integrated into the yacht’s energy architecture, supported by high-performance lithium-phosphate batteries. So, for those who dream of days spent at sea without an anchor and without a generator, the Oceanwalker S60e becomes a promise fulfilled.

Although the interior layout has not been officially detailed, the model can be configured with three or four cabins, adaptable to privacy or entertainment requirements. And, being built at the Fujian Sky Walker shipyard in Zhangzhou, China – with delivery expected in April 2026 – the yacht promises standards of excellence at every stage of construction, under the direct supervision of Revolution Marine Group’s team of engineers.
The first copy will be delivered to the exclusive Club Ki’ama Bahamas, located on Elizabeth Island, near Great Exuma. Described as “the first yacht and residence club powered entirely by solar energy,” Club Ki’ama is a futuristic concept that blends sustainable oceanfront housing with a fleet of cleanly powered yachts. It is an ideal destination for those who want to live the future, but with the style and grace of the present.
Dufour 48 an invitation to travel
“We are thrilled to offer the first Oceanwalker S60e to Club Ki’ama members,” said John Long, Executive Partner. “This sleek and solar all-electric catamaran fits perfectly with our responsible architecture and the lifestyle of our community.”
And perhaps the most interesting news for enthusiasts: CEO Edward Sacks is already promising a larger version of this catamaran. So, enthusiasts of luxury nautical innovation have every reason to stay connected to the next wave of clean propulsion.
