After the debut of the Supermarine 500M with a black dial earlier this year, Bremont is now launching a new edition with a white dial. The Supermarine 500M Polar White brings a fresh visual identity to one of the British brand’s most advanced instrument watches, combining refined aesthetics with engineering specific to the depths.
Worn by professional British kitesurfer and Bremont brand ambassador Tom Bridge during the “Harness the Ocean” campaign in Tarifa, Spain, the new Supermarine is designed to handle both harsh and everyday aquatic environments.
The Bremont watch is water resistant to 500 meters
At the heart of the new model is a 43mm case, made of corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel, offering not only high durability but also a high-quality finish that demonstrates the brand’s commitment to detail and quality. Water resistant to 500 meters, it boasts crown and bezel protections and features a unidirectional black ceramic bezel insert, continuing the design language established by the Full Ceramic Supermarine series launched in 2024. Equipped with a helium exhaust valve, the Supermarine 500M is fully prepared for saturation diving.
The Polar White Edition introduces a sleek, three-dimensional design with applied hour indicators, filled with next-generation white Super-LumiNova that emits a deep blue glow in low light conditions. Fittingly, the watch features a wavy pattern, an elegant allusion to the depths of the ocean it is designed to conquer, seamlessly blending form and function. It creates a magnificent backdrop for Bremont’s signature sword-shaped needles, which are also filled with light, ensuring optimal readability underwater. Complementing the everyday functionality, there is also a date indication, placed at 3 o’clock.
Bremont Calibre BB64AH
The new Supermarine is powered by the Bremont BB64AH caliber, based on the Sellita SW300. The self-charging mechanism beats behind a closed and engraved closing cover with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and provides a robust 56-hour power reserve. Built for reliability, it includes a Glucydur rocker wheel, an Anachron rocker spring and a Nivaflex main spring, components designed for precision and longevity.
The watch is available with several strap options, including the Bremont quick-release stainless steel bracelet with alternating satin links and polished in an “infinity” shape for ergonomic comfort. This version is priced at $5,000. A military-inspired black rubber chevron strap and a woven NATO strap are also offered, allowing wearers to tailor the watch for both adventure and everyday wear. These iterations retail for $4,700.
