Omega has long been a pioneer in the world of diver’s watches, and for over 30 years, the Seamaster Diver 300M has remained one of the Swiss brand’s most recognizable and high-performance watches. This year, the brand returns to the collection with two new stainless steel references, but with a fresh touch, the color orange, a bold and functional design element that has been part of the brand’s DNA for decades.
Orange, for the first time in the Seamaster Diver 300 M range
The orange accent is far from being just a chromatic touch. Since the early 2000s, Omega has incorporated it into several of its Seamaster models – especially the Planet Ocean series – where the tint improves underwater visibility by acting as a visual aid in dim or dark diving environments.
Now, the brand is introducing this vibrant and practical colour to the Seamaster Diver 300M range for the first time, reinforcing the collection’s legacy while giving it a contemporary touch. These new 42mm models arrive at an exciting time for the Diver 300M family, which has recently undergone a significant refresh.

A renewed line
In line with the rest of the revamped line, these editions feature domed sapphire crystals and oxalic anodized aluminum frames. The case stays true to the fundamental identity of the Diver 300M. It is robust and sculpted from brushed and polished stainless steel, with a unidirectional rotating bezel and the helium valve characteristic of the watch, at 10 o’clock. The scalloped edge of the scope is another feature of the Diver 300M, making it easy to grip and use underwater.
On the rear window, the black anodised aluminium insert is enhanced with a 60-minute Super-LumiNova white scale, ensuring maximum readability even in total darkness. The same Super-LumiNova fills those rhodium-plated skeletons and embossed hour markers, which emit a blue glow in the dark.
These models are distinguished by the color scheme, which reimagines the familiar Diver 300M format with contrasting orange accents. The central seconds hand is finished with orange lacquer, with matching indexes for every quarter hour and the word “Seamaster” inscribed on the dial. The dial itself is made of black anodized aluminum, providing a matte, wristwatch-like look that emphasizes the utilitarian ethos of the watch.
Omega Calibre 8806 Co-Axial Master Chronometer
Behind the transparent sapphire crystal of the closure cap is Omega’s Caliber 8806 Co-Axial Master Chronometer. This self-loading mechanism is certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to meet the highest industry standards for accuracy, performance, and magnetic resistance, withstanding fields of up to 15,000 gauss.
Operating at 25,200 vibrations per hour and offering a 55-hour power reserve, the caliber 8806 features Omega’s signature freespring balance wheel with a silicone balance spring, Co-Axial escapement, and meticulous finishes such as Arabesque waves on the oscillating table visible through the closure cover.
Two distinct belt configurations
The Seamaster Diver 300M is available with two distinct belt configurations. One is equipped with a brushed stainless steel mesh bracelet and is priced at $6,800, and the second is equipped with a bright orange rubber strap as standard, priced at $6,500.
